Eric Whitesides works at the Bannock Regional in emergency. He looks really good and seemed very happy to see us. He told us that he received a letter from our Eric a couple of years ago. It was a map that the two Erics had drawn years ago when the were planning to play a practical joke on Dick Snow. He said he really treasured the thought and keeps the map on the visor of his vehicle. From the sounds of his talking, I don't think he ever responded to the letter.
Did you ever pull off that joke, Eric?
Yes, Lee found Sunday's experience to be a wake up call. He mentioned several times that he needed to get busy and take care of his health problems. He mentioned that if he died, he knew that it would leave me in a financial bind and would effect the kids and grandkids. Well, that was yesterday. Let's see if he really does it.

It's good to know Whitesides got the old map. He sent it to me while I was on my mission, and I found it in the stuff you brought me last year.
The joke: We stole a pair of Everett Whitesides' tighty-whitey underwear, wrote "Everett" on the wiastband, burned a hole in the crotch with a lighter, and hung them on the Snows' clothsline while successfully avoiding dogs, cows, horses, and barbed-wire fences. Mike Lindsay, who was with us fell in an irrigation ditch.
